The Otherside

The Otherside is a location accessible through portals. It is used as a form of faster transport using portal hubs to travel throughout the empire and beyond. Despite its usefullness, prolonged stays in The Otherside can cause Lost Souls to possess a person, causing them to become Soulridden, a condition which induces madness and death.

Geography

The Otherside is in ways similar to Heiterra, however it is much darker and more compressed. Rivers and oceans, instead of having water, are filled with blood. The ground is made of broken stone and cobble.

Fauna & Flora

Trees stripped of their bark 'grow' in this dimension, however they lack leaves.

Natural Resources

There are no natural resources, minus bark-stripped trees.
