Anurope

These amphibious beastmen have hairless bodies with hunched posture & 2 knees per leg like a grimalkin. Their short thick necks appear almost imperceptible where their wide heads connect to their shoulders. Though they may not suffocate like fish on land anurope want to keep their skin hydrated or else may suffer awful discomfort. There are two subspecies of anurope: the Thorny who come from the Kamen Cape and the Chroma who originate from Casway's swampy jungles.    

Chroma Anurope

 
3.5e Stats
  • +2 Dexterity, -2 Intellect, +2 Charisma.
  • Medium: As Medium creatures, Anurope have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Anurope base land speed is 30 feet and their swim speed is 30ft and it can move through water at its swim speed without making Swim checks. it has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some action or avoid a hazard. it can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or threatened. it can use the run action while swimming, provided it swims in a straight line.
  • Amphibious (Ex): Anurope can breathe both air and water, although they may need to keep their skin moist.
  • Poisonous Skin (Ex): Any creature struck with a slam or unarmed attack from the chroma anurope or attacking the chroma anurope with an unarmed, slam, or natural weapon attack must make a fortitude save against poison or be dazzled for 5 round. The DC for this save is 10 + half the anurope's HD + their CON modifier. A dazzled creature takes a -1 penalty on attack rolls, Search checks, and Spot checks. This effect does not stack.
  • Stable Landing (Ex): Anurope subtract 1 die from fall damage as long as they are not helpless.
  • +4 racial bonus on Climb, Jump Checks. -2 on Disguise and Hide Checks.
  • Automatic Languages: Common and Aquan. Bonus Languages: Elven, Sylvan, Draconic
   

Thorny Anurope

  • Thorn Skin (Ex): The small spikes on their back, limbs, and above their eyes causes 1d4 piercing damage to any creature in a grapple with a thorny anurope and allow slam and unarmed attacks from a thorny anurope to deal both bludgeoning and piercing damage.
  • +1 Natural Armor
  • +4 racial bonus on Climb and Jump Checks.
  • Stable Landing (Ex): Anurope subtract 1 die from fall damage as long as they are not helpless.
  • Automatic Languages: Common and Aquan. Bonus Languages: Elven, Sylvan, Draconic
