Gylew
Legend says the elven god Gylew tempted a laborer, barely making enough money to pay for his hut, to pick up a sword and cut down a Yuan-Ti. When he returned with what treasures it had taken from its victims the families and governance came to demand them returned, but Gylew appeared and said that since they hadn't the courage to take back the possessions they were rightfully earned by the laborer. And so the adventuring profession was born.
