Jorogumo

The descendants of aranea and cultists of the ancient arachnid devil, Arcanae, mixing with humans and half-elves. These arachnoid-humanoids usually stick to living in remote villages not because they are reclusive by choice, but because of the intense arachnophobia their appearance triggers in some people. Most jorogumo have 4 normal humanoid limbs and an additional 4 spider limbs (equal in length to their height) connected by their spinal column. These limbs make them adept at grasping prey and climbing almost any surface. An additional set of eyes sits on their forehead or brow temples, often kept closed for interspecies relations, give them enhanced sight. While some jorogumo work normal jobs many can make a decent living off their silk excretions. Though civilized, the spider people enjoy live food.
Alignment: Often lawful or neutral good.
Commonly born with black hair and their eyes are often full black, but might be red, yellow, or another bright gem-like color, with vertical slit pupils and black sclera. Their skin may be blue tinted. Names: Stellata, Darlingi, Riversi, Minax, Mira, Aurantia, Blondi, and Emilia.

• With her legs extended the jorogumo can spiderclimb at her normal land speed with her 4 humanoid limbs free.
• Extending her extra limbs grants a +4 on all grapple checks.
• +4 on spot checks.
• When properly fed the jorogumo can secrete up to 10 feet of silk rope (as the item worth gp) per day. This may come from her mouth or rear.
• Once per day She can spit up 1 ounce of sovereign glue.
• Limb Loss: If one of her limbs is removed it does not regenerate without appropriate magical aid. With only 3 spider limbs her climb speed is reduced by half & her grapple reduced to +4. With 2 limbs she cannot use her spiderclimb & the grapple bonus is +2. One limb is useless alone.
• Automatic Languages: Common and Sylvan. Bonus Languages: Undercommon, Hengeyokai, Terran, and Dwarven.
