Ninja Clans

In Nalchaa there are organizations of warriors trained in both covert ops agents called ninja clans. These clans typically sell their services to the crown, nobles, businesses, and others who desire their services. Some ninja roam about selling their work like mercenaries while many stay with their clan at a base typically found in remote wilderness. The warriors in these clans often become family to each other and long lineages will form from their eldest bloodlines while new recruits are brought in to add to keep their ranks fresh or replace fallen clansmen. These societies are often quite isolated to keep their secrets & provide safety from those who decry their methods like spying and assassination thus they become very self sufficient for arts like blacksmithing and religious services. It is also believed that each clan has a secret magical technique only known to their advanced members.
