Tsukoyomi

Depicted both as a charming young sorcerer and a grey-bearded old wizard, Tsukoyomi is the god of magic and the moon. In the beginning of the world when gods walked with men it was he who showed men how to harness the magics of the Arch Trees and the magics of divine bloodlines within themselves. In some legends he is said to have flown into the sky toward the moon and never returned though other stories say he returns to speak only with the greatest magicians and to help in times of turmoil. He is the twin of Omiokane and younger brother of Amaterasu.
