Wood Elvs

During a summer 530 years ago a legion of elves called the Tuatha, hungry for human flesh, poured forth from the Nymph woods of Albion. Claiming to be the rulers of the Faeglenn plane these elves descended on Fo'Lienande's east and circled the marshes toward the Porthca Mountains. Orlon had more time to send its garrisons to stop the alien elf army at the mountains' foot while Fo'Lienande suffered heavily from the ambush for two months. When winter came the Tuatha had no knowledge of the long and freezing night and they were set upon by the werebeasts of the forest. Their base camps destroyed and armies routed soon after the survivors fled through the Titania's Breath valley to the Rot Lands where they settled with the barbarian tribes of man. Ondorme, the elven commander the plains are named for today, fought the fair barbarians' chiefs in duels and was named Condor Chieftain -leader of all tribes- when the sun finally rose again. The Tuatha saw this as a sign to accept this place in their new world and settled with the barbarians to create the "wood elves" of today. Many see only elves and cannot identity the Tuatha's descendants who are weakened by the material plane's mundanity. Wood elvs today oft bear skin with some reddish tint, but do not look as alien as their ancestors. Rumors say their eyes and hair are reddened by the drinking of blood.
