Agent Orange was a toxic, plant-killing chemical (herbicide) that the U.S. military used to clear foliage during the Vietnam conflict. Exposure to the herbicide causes Agent Orange effects, which include cancer, congenital (birth) disorders and life-threatening health complications. Napalm is an incendiary mixture of a gelling agent and a volatile petrochemical. The name is a portmanteau of two of the constituents of the original thickening and gelling agents: coprecipitated aluminium salts of naphthenic acid and palmitic acid. Rain seeding is a type of weather modification that aims to change the amount or type of precipitation that falls from clouds by dispersing substances into the air that serve as cloud condensation or ice nuclei, which alter the microphysical processes within the cloud. The most common chemicals used for cloud seeding include silver iodide, potassium iodide, and dry ice (solid carbon dioxide). Liquid propane, which expands into a gas, has also been used. These chemicals are introduced into clouds using aircraft, ground-based generators, or pyrotechnics. When silver iodide is introduced into a cloud, it acts as an ice nucleus, providing a surface for water vapor to freeze onto. This can lead to the formation of ice crystals, which can then grow into snowflakes or raindrops. Dry ice also acts as an ice nucleus, but it can also cause water vapor to condense directly into ice crystals, without the need for a liquid phase. Liquid propane is a newer cloud seeding agent that is becoming more popular. It is more effective at producing ice crystals at higher temperatures than silver iodide, making it a good choice for seeding clouds in warm climates. Rain seeding is used for a variety of purposes, including: Increasing precipitation in areas that are experiencing drought. Suppressing hailstorms. Increasing snowfall in mountain areas to improve snowpack and water supplies. Reducing fog. The effectiveness of rain seeding is debated, but some studies have shown that it can increase precipitation by up to 15%. However, the results of cloud seeding operations can vary depending on a number of factors, including the type of clouds being seeded, the atmospheric conditions, and the amount of seeding material used. Rain seeding is generally considered to be safe, but there are some potential environmental concerns. For example, silver iodide can be toxic to aquatic life at high concentrations. However, the amounts of silver iodide used in cloud seeding operations are very small, and studies have shown that it does not pose a significant risk to the environment. Overall, rain seeding is a promising technology with the potential to help alleviate water shortages and improve weather conditions. However, more research is needed to better understand its effectiveness and environmental impacts.Manifestation

Location: Coastal Caves
Dr. Lionel Benton uses the concoction he creates to flood the caves. It isa combination of aluminium salts, napthenic acid, palmitic acide, silver iodide, potassium iodide, and dry ice. The salts and acids gel the iodide and ice that he can mis them with his pyrotechnical contraption into vapor clouds. The clouds produce a rain that overwhelms ships, boats and other vehicles. The vapor's secondary effect is to sicken or kill living animals, including humans.
The nefarious doctor first experiments with the clouds during the Crooked Mile Circle's investigation of the Coastal Caves that lead to them finding a periscope viewfinder that makes it possible to see into an author's imagination.
