Research Materials
Research is an Ongoing Process - Nothing Settles in a Bubbling Soup
Research Materials include grimoires, history tomes, Lightkeeper Candela Obscura Guidebooks, and card catalogs. Card catalogs are restricted. The public and society friends are directed to the 3X5 inch card that orders books, by title, author and subject. A second section is reserved, and can only opened by the society member who needs to confirm or cross reference a book located in the public sector. The clandestine card catalog is located in an undisclosed section of the library. A key and password must be used to open the catalog. The Arcane Tome that is kept at the ready for Chapter members to consult is an ongoing manuscript. It is part of a fictive story and the contents that may change, elminated or added depending on investigative adventures. Because the Circle fully understands that to eliminate the effects of a potion, curse or hex, it is necessary to know how and/or why it was forced on soneone in the first place. Only in the most urgent cases does the Circle use the recipes in the ever evolving book to initiate a curse or hex. Potions recipes are used more often, but cautiously.

Jason Garamund's Journal
Effectively a grimoire is a book of black magic, a book on which a wizard relied for all the necessary advice and instruction on raising spirits and casting spells. To be effective, the wizard should be initiated in the art of reciting the formula and following the rituals that are associated with the spells.
The Cathaleen Orchid Garamund and Jason Garamund books are scheduled to be released during the summer of 2024; at least the pages that are being found and compiled for transmission. I apologize for the delay, but the machine Jason and I are using to communicate is being intentionally interfered with orbital sine waves. The whys and wherefores is a pending Crooked Mile case stacked beneath all the others.
