1900s Expedition Equipment

Tents, tarps, all weather cloaks, blankets, canteens, insect nets, water & filters, boots and whatever other survival tools player characters usually rely on. Discussing the use of survival gear is a good way to "break the ice." And it is a reason to return to the Circle Chapter House before embarking on the second phase of an assignment. For example, the investigators may need to prepare for an overnight excursion. The transportation in 1907 Crooked Mile and the Fairelands is vulnerable. Trains, buggy rides, steamships and trolleys break down. Walking is not always timely, convenient or safe. Spouters Tavern has a wide selection of secret society investigator wares. There are no guarantees that the survival equipment was not afore used, but its been tested in dire circumstances. Being tested is a plus when Circle members need to hide, meditate or find a dry spot on a rainy day in a tormented world. Suggestion: If the canvas tent leaks find an abandoned old barn or shed. Line up the broken boards with the high thread canvas (not the threadbare canvas or the holes in the fabric. The tent is layer within a layer and it provides privacy. Or go to a shop in Newfaire and pay too much for a military tent. Surplus stores are springing up all over the Faireland since the Six Years War ended.
