Gnarb

Gnarbs are old, wise albinos of any species who live in secluded caves, having been cast out from society, and spend their time doling out prophecies, oracles, and fortunes that are only partially useful.

Perception

Purpose

Gnarbs are gifted with the power of foresight, bestowed upon them by the Omniswan out of divine pity. However, Gnarb foresight is limited in precision, able to view bits of the future rather than a complete picture. Throughout Crundlean history, Gnarbic oracles have foretold of future miracles and impending disasters, but the fragmentary nature of their prophecies have done little to advance public knowledge of the future apart from instilling a widespread sense of generic existential dread.

Social Status

Gnarbs are widely disliked across Crundle due to the impractical nature of their future sight, and as such live in seclusion within the wilderness. In spite of this, however, folk from all over the plane seek out local Gnarbs for their foresight.
