The Light Spiders

Originally named "The Night Spiders", The Light Spiders were a small group of rogues who found the path of Laydi'wahni "The White Lady" after confronting a casting Cleric and his uncle with intent to kill. The group used to be muscle for the evil rogue guild "The Night Spiders" until being inspired by the good Cleric Peter Henry.
Once operating in Vaneesh, fighting crime and robbing all robbers, now almost all members are dead with only one member still alive and now retired from adventuring.
The group was once a collection of lowly criminals, but they were determined to turn their lives around. They saw Peter, a powerful cleric, as a guiding light, and they were willing to risk everything to defend him and his cause. In doing so, they hoped to find redemption and a new path towards the light.

The Light Spiders are no longer operating due to all but one of them meeting a violent death in service to Peter Henry and the Light of Laydi'wahni.

Structure

The rogues follow the lead and sensibilities of Rollfio, the wiser of the 5, but each one is capable of competent actions and choices.

Culture

The Spiders of Light believe that saving the harmless is the only way to earn pardon in the eyes of the good Gods. They choose The White Lady as their patron and see the good Cleric Peter to have been sent to them by divine course. They are willing to die for what they now believe and they will never harm goodly individuals again.

Public Agenda

Knowing much about the local criminal organizations- the Light Spiders have decided to take holy war onto them. They do so under the cloak of the night, and with great caution and subterfuge, knowing the price they would pay if identified and captured by the criminal organizations they seek to stop.

Assets

The Spiders of Light have very little in the ways of wealth and equipment. They have access to blackmarket trade and also repurpose spoils of war to their cause when possible.

History

The five rogues are cousins and hail from Crim where they worked as fishermen until they became involved with crime at a young age. They moved to Vaneesh when hired to work for the Night Spiders (now dead).
