Appearance

These crystals are created by the Gnomeish artificers in a artificial process which ties the material to The Elemental Plane of Fire. They are highly explosive and fragile, but highly potent in their ability to provide intense heat in a convenient way. Powering constructs by means of steam and heat.

Potential

• Explosive: When these items are squished, dropped, or raptured, they explode in a 5ft radius, potentially igniting nearby crystals. They deal 2d6 points of damage per crystal ignited this way.
• Heat: When these crystals come into contact with water they start to generate heat, 4 of these will generate enough heat to almost instantaneously heat water into steam for 4 hours.
