Notes on Hage
Hag Coven:
The power of a hag coven depends on the Hag out of which it consists, and mostly depends on the tier of the hag, how purer, how stronger their magic. All hags despise those of a lower tier, and conclaves that consist out hags of different tiers seldom last. The opinion on other types of hags differs per hag, but most look down on others with distaste, Hags with a higher tier are looked up to with envy and ire. So, most conclaves consist out of similar hags, but in a time of need, there might be a temporary alliance, which might sprout something horrible that endures long thereafter. There are 9 clearly divined types of hags, each part of a hierarchical system of purity, a lower-tier means a higher purity and even larger wickedness. Hags tend to adapt to their surroundings, and eventually, their personality follows, but in a wicked way, every time this is done, some of the hags “Purity” or resemblance to the original hags diminishes and so become of a higher tier. Pure Hags:- Fey Hags: the original tenders, these very beautiful and elflike creatures are masters of illusion and deceit
- Night Hags: these creatures had close contact with devils or demons and match them in many ways.
- Shadow hags: One with the dark, these hags are masters of stealth deception and not being noticed.
- Green hags: With personalities matching the randomness of the fey, these are very unpredictable.
- Bheur hags: used to the cold, these hags prosper during the Cinque of ice, destructive and illusive.
- Annis Hags: One with the earth beneath them, these giantesses rely on their strength.
- Blue hags: repulsive and nefarious, the blue hags love the sea and all the sorrow it brings.
- Other: Various Hags that have adapted to their surroundings.
