The Age of Emergence

Its worth to point out that, although the aforementioned races seem similar to the races we know today, they are not. As during these primal times these beings where still very much like their creators, “divine” and have since devolved into the beings we know today, the Sun, Moon and Dark elves being somewhat of an exception, these even now seem to have kept on to a shard of Divinity.   After the world was created, after many eons. Things quieted down a bit and the world. One which could hardly be recognized as our own. The seas where like crystal and un-stirred by winds, the world was littered with steep mountains, deep caves filled to the brim with subterranean treasures , fantastical flora covered most of the landscapes and weird fauna inhabited much of the world all while elemental energies where a common hazard. All while unimaginable civilizations, comprising of imaginable beings fought and fell to the whims of the Prime gods.   Slyhulhl, being delegated a advisory role grew restless, and as he was no longer under close scrutiny from the two other gods managed to corrupt the Dark-Elves, and the Grey-Dwarves, who in turn refused the commands from their creators and instead heeded Slyduhl council. Dariël, who eventually figured out that she lost control over her "Eraser" sought to wipe this rebellious race from the earth, however these Elves which assistance of the Grey Dwarves had burrowed themselves so deep that the infinite power of the gods couldn't reach them without destroying the world. Cawelt, not one to accept no for an answer attempted to dig these miscreants out, sending massive tremors trough the world and shattering many mountains, flattening many of the jagged spires, but despite all Cawelts effort the Dwarves dug deeper, and deeper always outrunning the manic clawing of the massive god titan. Cawelt would've destroyed to world to get this done, if it wasn't for Dariël who, managed to talk Cawelt down. With no way to destroy troublesome races from the face of the earth many more races where allowed to flourish, among these where the wood and High-Elves. And from the many shattered mountain there rose a new breed of Dwarf, one more suitable to the more level terrain, the Hill-dwarves. The massive hole in the ground was, over time, filled with the primal energies which had ravaged the lands.   With the world being no longer ravaged with primal energies, the offspring of the elemental giants that where born without the innate elemental energies was now able to survive fled from their parentage, spreading over the world, eventually giving birth to a lesser race of giants, which would be known as the Goliaths.   The primal energy which drained onto the hole eventually divided into four distinct areas: The Fiery anger of Cawelt, the Gentle care of Dariël, the Chaotic Turmoil of Slyduhl and the rock steady defiance of the miscreants. Creating the four elemental planes: fire, air, water and earth respectively. This separation didn't go easily and amidst this turrmoil new beings emerged, the primal elementals, from which everything elemental flows, including the beings we know today as Genies.   With life now finding its feet and learning as it went, a new race of elves emerged, these High Elves, according to some the offspring of the Sun Elves. These elves became the messengers of this primal world, and traveled between the far reaches of the world, searching for new knowledge and sharing the knowledge they already collected with the other races of the world.   With many new races roaming the earth, the gold dwarves, unable to defend their valuables that littered the lands, recruited giants to defend their wealth, and from this union a new race of dwarves emerged, the Shield dwarves. These stronger, more aggressive dwarves became the guardians of the gold dwarves and protected them and their chthonian treasure.
