Tempered by the icy winds of the north, and the constant struggles against the climate, the Haspeau have grown accustomed to their situation and now provide the most resistant and stubborn creatures of the world. Living in their grand stone keeps, overlooking the wooden villages the Jarls prepare their long ships for when the rough seas quiet down. With many of the fighters adopting the way of the berserker these long ships proved a severe threat to the various port towns. The locals are about a friendly as the climate as not many who knock on their doors have proved to be friendly.
