Noun: Yachan
Ruled by a large group of semi-democratic merchant princes who made their modest fortunes by trading food, crafting materials and absolutely anything else the nomadic tribes of the Al’harun’s Vantel, the Hardened Norse from the Haspeau Nation and the proud folk from the Yachana Republic would require. Their large lavish caravans are well armed and well-travelled, and many traders will happily join their ranks, for the privileged of using the prices name.
These empty and dry and mountainous tundral lands are far from friendly, and whenever one seeks to travel far in these inhospitable lands, one requires a land-ship. These large marvels of ingenuity are powered by various machinations, from cows to magic. Some resemble spiders, others are more like giant moving fortresses.
The largest city of The Yachana republic is: Mar’tle’s port to the south east. A bastion of wealth, light and hospitality in a further poor, dark and hostile country, with only a small risk that one gets tied up in the devious schemes of the various merchant princes. This port is one of the focal points of trade and commerce in the northern lands, and so one could find various desperate individuals from other regions who seek their fortune, or an escape.
