Rahadin
The loyal chamberlain of Strahd, Rahadin is Strahd's closest ally and most trusted servant. A dusk elf Barovian native, Rahadin has served Strahd since his birth. He speaks with the party like that of a butler, echoing the words and requests of his master. Rahadin has told the party before that Strahd is like a brother to him, and he owes his life servitude to the count.
First encountered at Strahd's dinner party, Rahadin escorted the party to the dining hall, and took Ireena away when Strahd asked him to do so. The next time he was seen was when he interrupted the party on their trip back from the Wizard of Wines with a cart full of barreled wine to deliver to the Martikovs in Vallaki. He told them that the Wizard of Wines' recent impotency has also affected Ravenloft, and that he would be requisitioning the wine from the party to bring to Strahd. The players denied to hand over their hard-earned work, and a battle ensued. In combat, a cacophony of the desperate screams of women, men, and children swarm the minds of Rahadin's foes - the pleas and cries of all the people he has slaughtered for his master. The party made a break for it with Boop transforming into a horse to pull the cart, but Rahadin was in hot pursuit on a phantom steed. After an intense chase and a fierce fight, Rahadin was eventually shaken off by the party, defeated.
Later, the party learned through Kasimir Velikov of the dusk elves that after angering Strahd, the dusk elves were punished by having all of their women killed so they could no longer reproduce. It was Rahadin who undertook this task, betraying his own race and people in favor of the Land.
