Session 11: Quiet in the Forest 9/26/2021

General Summary

The next morning the party discovered the leader of the zombie group was wearing an armband with a symbol on it. The symbol was a circle with a line drawn directly through the middle, the lines extending past the boundary of the circle. (The Phi symbol) Rin grabbed the arm band and placed it in her bag after showing the group. No one had any knowledge about it.
Max brought up burning the bodies out of respect and necessity. The group debated over the reasoning for burning the bodies and it was ultimately decided the bodies would be burned with Max leading the ceremony.
The group left Dragonspear Castle and proceeded to the Misty Forest.
Upon reaching the forest various group members noticed there was a lack of humanoid presence. Rin, who had travelled through here before, informed the group about rumors she heard about this forest. There are apparently elves who reside in this forest. They are wary of humans and protect the forest which may explain why there are few signs of people hunting or camping.
Malcolm and Rin gathered herbs and mushrooms for different purposes. The group set up camp for the night in the Misty Forest and made an effort to conceal the camp. Watches are now done in 2 pairs.
1st Watch: Max and Eshonai / 2nd Watch: Xayah and Lunafreya (Rin's Fuzzy)......In the night, Max and Eshonai spotted a small group of elves in the distance that did not appear to notice the camp.
During the night, Ehsonai had given Rin a dreamcatcher. Rin thanks Eshonai after learning she made it for her. Rin ensures to leave the camp without a trace. Max and Eshonai share with the group what they had seen during their watch.

We decide to burn the zombodies and discover a patch with a symbol on the zombie leader's arm.
We make our way towards the Misty Forest. We survey the forest before foraging for mushrooms and herbs.
We camp for the night. Eshonai and Malcolm notice movement during the night.
