Session 3 & 4: Fistandia's Mansion 8/1/2021 & 8/8/2021

General Summary

We investigate the mansion, encountering combat with animated objects, and finding books with a single letter on the front. We find a gnome named Nibi inside the mansion as well. She was apparently in the mansion with her own group and then found herself with us. We find books that spell out “liberty.” We speak it at the door in hopes that the door will appear again. It does and we’re able to escape. When the doors open, we see Matrius on the floor and the Candlekeep attendants in the room. The time we’ve spent inside the mansion was much longer than the time outside of the mansion.
We investigate Matrius’s belongings and discuss seeking out Fistandia for her assistance in breaking this curse now that Matrius is gone. Gorig asks Kalyus about Fistandia and we’re told that she was presumed dead/missing. It had been approx. 50 years since they last saw her.
