Session 7: Continued Pursuit 8/29/2021

General Summary

Part 2 of Raal's One Shot
Rin, upset that this adventure has taken long into the night has chosen to leave the party to camp out in the woods while the party continues through the Brothers' house. “I’m leaving. I’ll set up camp outside.” She takes advantage of the fact that she’s still luminous to light her way through the darkness leaving the property to set up camp. She leaves in a hurry but you can hear her grumbling loudly to herself on her way out, “I want--rest...full day of shopping...didn’t need...Now it’s late...no sleep...no where near solving the--(Rin mockingly grumbles) the ‘C’ word. HMPH.”
Nibi notices Rin is leaving and runs after her yelling, "Wait for meeee!" Rin and Nibi set up camp and spend the night out together in the woods. Before they rest for the night, Rin pulls out a fuzzy clump from the bag on her waist and throws it in the air. As it lands a deer appears. Rin gives the command, "Keep watch until dawn, alert us of any dangers." The deer nuzzles her side as if acknowledging the command.
Note: I did not participate in this weekend’s session, so I do not have a summary of what happened with the Greta (spelling?) brothers.
From Bacon: After Nibi and Rin left we fought and stabilized all but one dog. We reached the top of the steps and were met with very aggressive brothers who were obviously still reeling from whatever mind control they were under. We briefly fought and disabled their attacks. Offered them food and water. They rejected our help. We left back to a tavern and found the name of the halfling merchant who controlled them. We slept there. And I think the next week was when we entered the shop.
The same tavern we stopped into when we were looking for the brothers finally remembered who we might be looking for when we stopped back with more information.

This was Part 2 of Raal's One Shot.
The group was able to charm the Greta Brothers and get them to disclose the identify of the halfling merchant. They return to town to find him.
