Lingering Wounds

Though this world is one of wonder and hope, that is not to say it is devoid of danger or consequence. Whenever a creature:
  • Recieves a Critical Hit
  • Drops to zero hit points
  • Fails a Death Save by 5 or more
It's controller rolls on the Lingering Wounds table:  
D8+D12RESULT
2 Lose an Eye
3 Lose a Leg or a Foot
4-7 Develop a Limp
8-11 Minor Bruise
12-13 Minor Scar
14-15 Major Bruise
16-17 major Scar
18-19 Broken Bone
20 Lose an Arm or Hand
Record your injury, where you were wounded, and how you you got it. Every injury has a story behind it. "How does the injury affect your character?" "How do they deal with it?" "Have they come to accept it or are they trying to undo it?" You should consider questions like these and come up with some answers. Your character is likely to care about these lasting injuries quite a bit.
