Minos
Hulking behemoths of muscle, fur, and horns, one would not be faulted for thinking these folk to be dangerous beasts to be feared, but under the layers of strength and shag and keratin is the soul of an artist and storyteller. Literally written into being by their tribemates, Minos' are destined to travel out into the world, and record the story of their life, before returning to their ancesteral home to pass on and leave a story for their progeny.
As such, a Minos' most prized possession is their storybook, which contains a recolection of their life so far. Each Minos' soul is actually contained in their storybook, and as such that loose their book are often wracked with guilt and sorrow, dying not long after if their book is not found or restored. For this reason, a Minos will guard it's storybook with it's life, and to be trusted with the responsiblity of safeguarding a storybook for a Minos is for them to literally place their life in your care.
Ability Score Increase. When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1.
Age. Minotaurs mature and age at about the same rate as humans did.
Creature Type. You are a Humanoid with a sub-type of Minos.
Size. You are Medium.
Land Speed. You can move 30 feet at haste while grounded.
Horns. You can make a Horns attack, which is a melee weapon attack with which you are proficent and has the heavy property. It deals 2d4+Str piercing damage on a hit. You do not need a free hand to make this attack.
Goring Rush. Immediately after you take the Dash action on your turn and move at least 20 feet, you can make one melee attack with your Horns as a bonus action. If the attack hits, you may knock the target prone so long as it is no more than one size larger than you.
Hammering Horns. Immediately after you hit a creature with a melee attack as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to attempt to push that target with your horns. The target must be within 5 feet of you and no more than one size larger than you. Unless it succeeds on a Strength saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier, you push it up to 10 feet away from you.
Loremaster. You have proficency in the History skill and with Caligrapher's Tools. Additonally, You can accurately recall anything you've heard or read in the last week (this recollection is not accurate enough to remember spells or magically granted skill proficencies), are immune to the effects of the Modify Memory spell, and cannot be magically made to forget things.

For every 24 consecutive hours you spend 500 feet or farther from your spellbook, you gain one level of exhaustion. These levels of exhaustion cannot be removed until the storybook is back in your possession.
If you have your storybook on your person, you can transfer your story from your storybook to another book at a rate of one day per year of life transfered, with your soul transfered to the new book once the process is complete. Once you've transfered your story to your new book, the previous one becomes blank.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Bovarian and one other common language of your choice. Bovarian is the language of Minos' and is magically adjacent to the language 'spoken' by cows, oxen, goats, sheep, bison, antelope, and buffalo. Any being that learns the language can communicate simple ideas and concepts to these creatures and creatures like them, though these creatures do not have any special ability to respond.
