Fae-Blessed

These are human children who were treated with fae magic when it was clear they would not live to adulthood. Often this is done without the parents' knowledge and written off as a 'miracle' recovery or survival. The exact curcumstances of when and why this happens is unknown, often thought to be simply the whim of any passing fae with the ability to help who may take pity on the sick human.

Symptoms

Though the Fae-Blessed go mostly unnoticed by humans, a number of unusual symptoms can be observed by those who know what to look for. The child will often grow to be unusually healthy; rarely coming down with illnesses such as the common cold or flu. On the other hand, they may also find themselves with varying physical difficulties such as a seemingly random 'tingling' sensation in their extremities and tinnitus. These are widely known by faekind to be side-effects of the fae magic present within their body.
