Scrappers
Scrappers are a subculture of scavengers which grew several years after the Uprising. Younger fae and humans alike, born into the mess of the Uprising, they have learned to utilise the chaos and carnage around them to their advantage.
Culture
Scrappers were born into, or grew up in, the Uprising, and thus have learned to use what is available to them to a far greater advantage than most who had to adapt from their previous lives. They generally live and travel in clans, combing through ruins of human society to find what the old world left behind; to repurpose it.
Thanks to their fresh view on the world, Scrappers are known to be some of the most advanced inventors and engineers on the planet, of Magic Technology and regular technology alike. They are not confined by the 'rules' of the previous civilization and thus can use their fresh insight and imaginations to create technology far beyond anything the older generations could come up with.
Scrappers are typically dressed in dark and earth-toned clothing in simple patterns, adorned with patches that they make or find. As they are a culture of scavengers, they put great worth and emphasis on their collections: the more interesting pieces from the ruins is on their scrapping outfits, the more respected they are by other Scrappers.
