Firefighters
Firefighters historically come from civilian self-defense, when people in proletarian neighborhoods, such as Hammer , organized themselves to fight back the gangs. The only connection to these origins today is stylistic: Firefighters wear high vis vests and jumpsuits, hard hats, steel toed boots. Carrying huge steel firefighter axes painted vivid red is another trademark, and a lot of gang members, especially those with boosted strength, wield them with terrifying efficiency in combat. Others choose simpler athletic clothes to make it easier to run away and blend in.
The gang's specialty is creating civil unrest and disturbance during political campaigns, elections, and just about anything involving public opinion. Demonstrations often deteriorate into violence and looting, making another source of revenue for the gang. As 'activist gang' Firefighters collect substantial fees for throwing their "support" behind - or more frequently against - candidates, products, and social issues.
