New Delta City

After the devistation of Hurricane Rene in New Orleans, the AGDISTIS Corporation pushed for a plan to rebuild New Orleans as a 21st century technological hub. The plan called for filling in huge sections of the Mississippi River, since the river now flowed backwards all the way west to Donaldsonville. The plan also incorporated a new system of high speed internet cable and promised connectivity to 100% of its residents. Only three years after the construction began, New Delta City was the target of a Nuclear Attack. While some details are conflicting, the general concenus is that ARASAKA took control of JNOC using GAIAand launched a single Minuteman III missile at New Delta City as the culmination of an ongoing corporate dispute between AGDISTIS and ARASAKA.
