NASA

National Aeronautics and Space Administration is the USA's civil space program. The agency's purpose is for scientific research and exploration of space. They have several research stations and satellites throughout the system. They have currently established a colony with the cooperation of several corporations on Mars.

Unlike the ESA, their purpose is for the continued research into human expansion and understanding of space. They have done several unmanned and manned expeditions into the solar system.

Their relationship with USAF is one of balance between civilian purpose and military one. They do share technologies with one another but have different aims within orbit.
