The being known only as THE ONE awoke and found itself bored.

The being known only as THE ONE awoke and found itself bored. To entertain himself he created twin beings, Primus and Unicron, one to create one to destroy. Almost instantly the twins began to attempt to directly combat each other. They each created avatars to take advantage of the other's distraction attempting to fulfill their true purpose. At some point THE ONE grew bored of their stalemate and trapped each one's mind in their weaker avatar's bodies and sent them into a slumber.
