Cythonic Isles

A set of islands sprouting up from the bones of a primordial giant. The Isles are loosely connected by thin land-bridges and man-made bridges. There are two nations in the Isles: the Kingdom of Brython, in the centre, is a collection of three islands and five territories ruled by one king; the Priestdom of Loth, to the east, is a small island with surrounding smaller islands, generally manouvered by boats. The Cythonic Isles were once conquered by the distant Empire of Coranai, and Loth still maintains close ties to the Empire while Brython has distanced itself significantly.    Portals to the Otherworlds are only found within the Cythonic Isles, as the blood of the primordial giant on which the land has grown seeped into the soil and imbued the land with magical properties.
