Druagar
Druagar are the physical embodiment of ancestral wrath brought forth by prayer, desperation or sacrifice. A Druagar is a wicked, vengeful quartet of spirits created to seek vengeance. A druagar's shape is variable and can appear as a quartet of statues, sculpted effigies or paintings on the walls of a sacred tomb. While their physical form varies, all Druagar walk as four, speak as four and pursue their task as one.
Vengeful by Design
Scholars consider Druagar and Revenants to be borne of the same evil seed. Like Revenants, Druagar carry an unrelenting thirst for vengeance, enhanced strength against its sworn foe and an innate, magical sense of their prey's location. While Revenants seek revenge for wrongs they have suffered, a Druagar is created intentionally to seek retribution for another.Hunter's Notes
Destroying a Druagar is a complicated and precise process. First, the Druagar must be incapacitated. Second, the hunter is to drive nails into the Druagar's feet so they may walk no longer. Third, the Druagar must be doused in holy oil and burnt at separate times of day; Midnight, dawn, high sun and dusk. In doing so, the hunter severs the bonds between the Druagar's four souls and sends them to everlasting rest.Gatherer's Notes
The nails used to destroy a druagar are permanently imbued with powerful magic and are exceptionally useful for crafting magic items.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
