The House of Order
The House of Order are an organization of clerics, paladins and other holy warriors devoted to Beryllian. They offer their services as sellswords to law-abiding clients, typically acting as armed guards. Occasionally the House is hired as bloodhounds to hunt bandits, scoundrels and other unsavoury types.
The House maintains a seat of power within Castle Bastion in Crestfall.. Their crest is a sapphire crown on an iron grey field. Members of the House of Order follow these key tenets: Law: The law is paramount. It is the mortar that holds the stones of civilizations together and it must be respected. Loyalty: Your word is your bond. Without loyalty, oaths and laws are meaningless. Courage: You must be willing to do what needs to be done for the sake of order.

Rites & Traditions
Walk the Cobalt Road. According to House law, certain clergy members must make pilgrimage to the lair of a blue dragon and ask their judgement. In recent years this tradition has largely died out and been ignored, but remains a House law all the same. The Declaration. An annual tradition held in Brighton. Months of preparation is required, culminating in a mass pilgrimage lead by the High Justicar, resulting in the conjuring of a celestial entity to deliver new testament and judgement on the House's affairs.Benefits of Membership
Knights of the Order benefit from the House's protection and access the House armoury, blacksmith and stables to equip themselves. Additionally, the House occasionally seizes illegally claimed land and, when no legitimate owner can be found, gifts the land and buildings to respected members typically ranked Captain or higher. Knights Cordon have a contingent of knights available at their discretion whom they can assign to guarding territory, bringing bandits to justice or any number of other lawful tasks. Knights Cordon also have access to the guild's masterwork armoury and griffon mounts.Structure
The guild is comprised mostly of Knights, holyfolk who have sworn their oaths to the Oathbinder and vowed themselves in service to the House. Before being sworn in, a knight must prove their knowledge of law, their courage in the face of danger and their fighting competency.
Accomplished knights are granted the rank of Captain for deeds in service to Beryllian.
Captains that continue to serve the House loyally are lifted to rank of Knight Cordon and granted new privilege, power and responsibility. Knights Cordon are permitted to swear in new recruits and are assigned a column of knights as their personal retinue.
The House is led by the High Justicar from Castle Bastion. The Justicar is protected by the Gauntlets: a pair of expert bodyguards chosen for their martial and mental prowess.
One or more Seekers also serve the House as honorary knights-adjunct, though they swear no official oaths to Beryllian.
