Saurian swamps
All over the world the swamps are expanding, this unnatural expansion is not a product of environmental shifts but a deliberate manipulation of natural magic by the Saurians
The Saurians, often overlooked, are, in fact, the architects of a grand, world-altering scheme. Masters of subterfuge, have been manipulating events from the shadows for centuries. While the expanding swamps are a testament, they are merely one piece of a complex puzzle. The Minos, have begun to suspect the Saurians' involvement in the swamp expansion. However, a recent, phenomenon has diverted their attention. A vast expanse of desert has frozen, diverting all their attention to this prophesied event.
Geography
Eastern Kingdom A great swamp in this region is home to at least two saurian villages, in recent years the swamp grew up about 10% of their original area. Located between two major human areas, the ancient territories known as Concordia, to the north and Athael, tho the south; now united as one large human kingdom, the Saurians in the region expand the swamp, with natural rites, to establish defensive perimeters in case of an invasion, moreover they need more space to use as breeding grounds for food and other useful creatures.
Nimbor with the foundation of this gnome city, a swamp, located to the east, recently began to expand. Few remember if any Saurians lived there before or if they recently founded a village.
Grastion Kingdom A Swamp north of this new human settlement, appears within a year of foundation, and with a Saurian village.
