The Eastern Human Queen

 The eastern kingdom is ruled by a queen, however, perhaps only about 50 people really know who she is, because both her identity and that of her children or relatives are kept secret to avoid any attack against them.

Requirements

• Age: The King/Queen must be at least 18 years old.
• Race: Human
• Legitimacy: Must be recognized as the rightful heir to the throne, free from any dispute or controversy. See Appointment below.
• Characteristics: Intelligence, Cunning, Leadership and Discretion.

Appointment

An ancient ritual, known only to members of the royal family and priests, would mark the transition of the new queen. A magical scepter, passed down through generations, would be bestowed upon the new queen as a symbol of her authority. The queen would swear an oath to protect the kingdom and its people, and those present would pledge their allegiance to her. A consecration ritual, with natural elements, would strengthen the bond between the queen and her realm.
In this ceremony, the priest, loyal to the Queen or King, designs and gives a special silk shirt to identify royalty and rank in other environments/circumstances.

Duties

• Governance: Make important decisions for the kingdom, including political, economic, and military matters.
• Diplomacy: Maintain relations with other kingdoms and factions, negotiating alliances and resolving conflicts. Selected people of other races knows her.
• Protection of the realm: Defend the kingdom from external and internal threats, ensuring the safety of her people.
• Spiritual Leadership: Bond between the realm and the spiritual leaders in the city. Not all the worships are in contact, or good terms, with the royal court.
• Justice: Ensure that justice is administered fairly and equitably. Final Verdict in grand scale cases.

Responsibilities

Due to the secrecy surrounding her role, the queen relies on the following to carry out her duties:

• Counselors: The queen will rely on a trusted circle of advisors, experts in various fields, to make informed decisions.
• Secret Communication: She will use a network of messengers and secure communication channels to communicate with her advisors and allies.
• Clandestine Meetings: She will hold secret meetings in secure locations to discuss important matters.
• False Identity: She may adopt a false identity to move around the kingdom without being recognized.

Accoutrements & Equipment

In the ancestral ceremony, veiled by the eyes of the people, the new queen was given three objects of power and status.

1. A black crystal scepter, radiating an aura of authority, granted him dominion over the armed forces.
2. A delicate silver talisman, adorned with a moonstone, protected her from any prying eyes, ensuring her safety at all times.
3. A specially designed magical blue-hued silk shirt, embroidered with the emblem of the crown in gold thread, marked her as sovereign, even under the simplest clothes. For identification outside of the royal environment.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

• Abdication: The queen could voluntarily abdicate if she feels she can no longer fulfill her duties or if she wishes to retire.
• Death: Death is the most obvious way to lose the title.
• Removal: In extreme cases, if the queen commits treason or is unable to govern, she could be removed from power by a royal council or by the people.
• Renunciation of Royal Blood: If the queen renounces her birthright, she would automatically lose her title.
