Before the fall of heaven, Dahlia loved to cultivate rare and beautiful plants: she maintained a botanical garden which housed plants from numerous worlds. It was her pride and joy, but when the heavens collapsed her garden was lost along with it.She grieved it for many years, and then began the project again. Now alone, it was much more difficult to obtain both the plants and the correct conditions to make them flourish -- but Dahlia had eternity, and she put that time to use. Her gardens are smaller now, and far less impressive than they once were, but she loves them very much.
She makes her living selling flowers and arrangements, often with something of a magical touch. Her bouquets are said to bring joy and prosperity to the people who receive them.
