Banished

Banishment is a Magic-based binding to a location that often involves other planes of existence. There are two main kinds of Banishment, one is temporary, the other is permanent. Temporary Banishment is sending a creature onto another plane of existence (but not stopping it from returning after a while), while permanent Banishment is binding them to it so they cannot leave again. Permanent Banishment is much like a magical prison.
