Even though the Black Hand functions as a Mercenary group they have started as a criminal organization terrorizing many settlements and leaving a path of destruction behind them. Their notoriousness overshadows all the other gangs, especially that none of their members - many having bounties in the thousands - have ever been caught. Nowadays they are known as the best assassins one can hire, provided one has the coin for it.
