Bwertehol (bvɛrtɛxol)

Bwertehol is a Surface gate between the Blood Swamp and Bwerteran. It surrounds the Blood River that leaves the Caverns of Dwarovar.
The gate itself resembles a large skull with very little decoration, most likely to act as a threatening structure to keep most monsters out. The gate is rarely closed due to the Blood River overflowing when it does. The mouth is just large enough for a Boat and its passengers to fit through, probably the reason why boat sizes became what they are today - the gate was built first.

An entrance between the Caverns of Dwarovar and Blood Swamp.

Alterations

The gate itself has lost some teeth overtime that have been rebuilt into it.

History

The hole into the Blood Swamp has always existed, it was created by the Blood River. The existence of this surface entrance is probably the reason why Boats even got discovered in the first place.
