Court Noble (kɔːt nəʊbl)

Court noble is a non-transferable, temporary noble title. It gives the wielder access into the palace, audience with the Ruler, and an invitation to court discussions.

Appointment

They are given a personalized signet ring, and are sometimes given the silver blood drop symbol too (but most often it's symbolic).

Duties

Their actions influence the reputation of the Ruler, so they must act noble.

Benefits

Political power, and protection of the Guards. They also usually have good relations with the Ruler, so occasional gifts too.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

The Ruler can take the title away at any moment, and is also lost with the end of the Ruler's term, death, or the noble's death.
