Haer Mushroom

The Haer Mushroom is a natural wonder inside the Giant Mushroom Forest Haer. It's a giant, blue, light-producing mushroom that reaches the ceiling of the caverns. It's a popular Druidic pilgrim destination. Strangely it produces magical proximity much like Leviathan Blood.
Some might confuse it to a Web Eater Mushroom, but apart from being blue and glowing they do not share any other characteristics.

Purpose / Function

Its purpose is unknown apart from it just having grown there. Currently it's a pilgrim destination.

History

The current most widely believed theory is that a large lump of Leviathan Blood was once buried at the roots of the mushroom, hence why it produces magic proximity. However it is unknown why the mushroom keeps growing, plants do not usually react to Leviathan Blood in such a way. The current consensus is that there's a powerful spell affecting the mushroom.

Tourism

The Druidic Circle of the Crystal Pillar are often found around here, prohibiting anyone from touching the mushroom. They do allow visitors to stay relatively close, as long as they are not harming it.
