Sandworm

Sandworms are monsters that live underneath large bodies of sand. Their preferred hunting strategy is digging large circular pits of sand at the bottom of which is their enormous mouth, or swallowing their prey whole from underneath. Their senses are not too great, as long as travelers are careful and quiet enough to avoid their Tremorsense they should be fine.
