Silver Coat
Silver Coat is the name of a Silver liquid that quickly attaches onto metals and gives them a coat of Silver. This coat of Silver is particularly effective against monsters.
Alternatively if one chooses to, an Enchanter can permanently silver a weapon so that the liquid is no longer needed, but that is a long and costly process.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
A jar has 10 charges. If you coat your weapon with an action it uses 1 charge, alternatively you can do it hastily with a bonus action, but due to the spillage it consumes 2 charges. A weapon or ammunition that is silvered this way negates the target's resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage or if it's immune negates that into a resistance. Silver has been found to be particularly effective against monsters in Dali'en, meaning that if a monster hit by a silvered weapon does not have resistance then you deal 2 extra points of damage on a hit.
A silver coating lasts for a single combat encounter.
