Timing

At the beginning we measured time from the Sun's position, but it could only be observed from the outside. During the Age of Exploration one particular inventor from Réskehold was too lazy to travel to Réskehol to check the time and invented a device they named "clockwork". With these devices time could be measured even underground, and not only that, it basically kickstarted many more of these clockwork devices - triggering the Age of Industry.   We have always measured months as 60 days, however it was eventually observed that by doing this we started to lag behind the temperatures of the Surface, so an extra 4 days were added to the last month.   All in all, nowadays we are able to measure time both outside and down below (using clockwork devices).
