Caelum, God of the Sky

"All above is his, save the sun, moon, and stars. For he is the sky, forever touching the earth, yet always apart."
— from the sermons of Idal

As God of the Sky, Caelum is often revered as the source of all good things that come from his realm, such as refreshing rain, favorable winds, and gentle snow. Often, he is prayed to in lieu of the deities truly responsible for such occurrences, as his domain oversees them all. When such prayers arise, he shares them with his fellow deities. Because of his vaguer domain, Caelum is rarely depicted as having a true form. Usually, he appears in art as a pillar of clouds in the shape of a man, or as a faceless man in loose blue and white robes.

Tenets

Although a major god, Caelum has little interest in mortals. He values the festivals he is included in, and blesses those who pay him particular homage. On the rare occasions where he feels someone deserves his ire, he calls upon Argus, God of Storms to punish them.
