Korethean, God of Fire

"In the heart of all things is fire. Without fire, there is no life."
— excerpt from the Fire Pledge

A wild and unpredictable god, Korethean is nevertheless a member of the Circle of Ímlæs. He governs Ardan, the twelfth month of the year, when the flaming moon is dominant.

Often viewed as a raging and destructive god, Korethean is revered by elemental mages and craftsmen who regularly work with fire. Villages located near volcanoes also pray and sometimes offer sacrifices to him in an effort to keep the volcano calm. He is also worshipped somewhat by dragons, particularly red ones, for his gift of fire breath.

Tenets

Korethean commands that his followers respect the power of fire, which can both create and destroy. He curses those who misuse it.
