Daylight Power Grid

Light in its fluid-gas form is pumped through small tubes that mimic electricity wires. Thicker tubes will run exposed along the eaves of a building to provide light to the surroundings, or is fed into lanterns. A mix of modern electrical and ancient aqueduct technology. Typically only daylight is used as it is the most common source. Moonlight is far too rare to be wasted as a resource, and sunlight is near unheard of as a public resource.

Utility

Mainly used to light up larger cities to avoid having areas of darkness. The technology was developed after looking at plumbing and aqueducts to transport water around the town, and was recreated and refined for daylight use.
Access & Availability
The use of light power grids isn't widespread, and only the largest cities with access to multiple major daylight wellsprings have them set up.
