Mist balls are balls that explode into coloured mist when thrown onto the ground. They are often used to confuse opponents when a person is fighting, but are also used to add some flavour to various entertainment media, like magic shows, theatre and stand-up comedy shows. The balls are also a valuable tool used by those with non-offensive powers or people with no powers at all.
However, because of they are often used as a nuisance or a distraction in public places, there have been calls to ban their sale and use. Most recently, they have been used as a way to pull off heists and robberies.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

To create the mist, the user needs to shake the balls before throwing them on the floor. This ensures the liquid inside converts to the gas needed to create the mist.
