Born and raised in Evergreen's End to the Local Cleric Sean Landson and his wife Meredith Landson a former traveler with a local Nomad tribe. Orion had a relatively uneventful childhood with dreams of traveling the countryside.

Clearing the Kobolds
1. Early start to the day and know the location of the bandits within about a mile.
a. Debate strategy on the way
b. Get near and secure the horses on top of a plateau
2. Searching for tracks of other horses we come across a path between some rocks that leads to a cave system and nearby there is a pit with lots of small bones(trash pit)
3. Quietly enter the cave and Thomas grabs a torch off the wall
4. Thomas slides on a slippery section and falls into a pit
5. While helping him out of the hole we are attacked by Rats
a. Fended them off they retreated
6. Continue past the hole
a. Beware this place only death here, run with your lives while you can.
b. Lots of bones, chickens, horses, one human skull, mostly animal bones.
c. Crates and boxes broken open one of which was addressed to Teldora.
7. In a northern passage I grab a chest and a cave In separates Nate and Thomas from Orion and Hazel
a. Lizard creatures attack Nate and Thomas
b. They defend themselves as Hazel and I extract ourselves from the cave in.
8. Near their campfire and bedding more creatures throw rocks down on us from about 20 ft up
a. Kill them with ranged attacks
b. Near the campfire was a mushroom farm of Treeshelf mushrooms as well as many other varieties of brightly colored mushrooms.
c. Decide not to touch any mushrooms that we don’t know and gather a bit of the edible ones.
9. Deeper into the cave system we pass trophy walls and hit another fork in the path
a. Voices from the west section
10. I watch the western cave as the rest of the party searches down the silent eastern passage.
a. They found a bedroom with a journal in a dresser
i. Kicked out of capital
ii. Can scam the people of Frost Rain
iii. Talks about the caravan route and his plan to ambush it

v. Belongs to the dwarves
vi. Plans to hire help with excavating the gold mine.
b. Massive skull in an empty alcove with a bunch of pointy teeth
11. From the west comes 2 lizards and another larger one that speaks common
a. Leave or die
b. The skull is the shrine to the dragon mother, we will sacrifice you to awaken her.
c. We defeat them
12. Find the ash for Ingol and the flowers/herbs that teldora. As well as other odds and ends. Make our way back to town.
13. Return to town
a. Drop off ash to Ingol
i. The creatures were kobolds
ii. Extreme interest in the dragon skull.
b. Hagglers hook
i. People laughing at us thinking we lost, others cheering, some asking to be told the story
c. Teldora
i. Heals us
ii. Return the medicinal plants

The first day of a thousand more
1. Full moon decide to head to Frostrain Fort tonight to get space from the E.E. visitors
2. Along the trail, we are ambushed by 4 of the Yuan’ Ti
a. Hazel gets hit but we beat the Snakes
3. Watering horses at a spring and taking a rest before continuing our trip
a. A group of travelers pass our trip 8 people
i. Friendly, warn them of snakes, they gift us snacks
ii. One recognizes Starin as a Chimera
4. Get to the main road
a. Find man struggling with horse
i. As we approach horse kicks him in the head killing him
ii. Search his body for identification
1. Sealed letter in dwarven runes
2. Books in hidden lining (Starin took)
iii. We bring the dead man to Frostrain to hopefully return him to his family
b. Toll road
i. Thugs set up a toll 1 silver each to pass
ii. After trying to negotiate our pass Starin starts fighting them
iii. Kills 3, pins the foot of the leader down with a spear cutting off his foot, 2 other run away
iv. Starin tosses the money pouch to Thomas
5. Frostrain Fort
a. Starin leaves on business, we talk to guards about the body

ii. He was a courier, no family, all that was on him is ours to keep as well as the horse.

New Days Ahead
22nd of August 139 P.B.
Past 2 years
- Spending time with logging company and Kaia
- Caring for sisters and spending more time studying the pantheon/deities
Last year
- Lack of game returning in spring / prepare for another harsh famine
- Past few weeks Orion has become light sleeper, cold sweats, aches and stiffness (upper body and arms)
- Being treated more like adults, work, adult duties, and being part of the conversations of rationing/town issues.
Visitors
- We are starting to see Capitain Starin showing his age, using a “walking staff”
- A caravan of covered wagons approaches.
o 3 wagons, each with 4 horses to pull.
o one of the wagons is a personal transport(unusual for traders)
o the lead driver isn’t in charge, motions us towards the middle wagon
o food stuffs in the first cart,
o 3 people in the middle cart, 1 woman and man (royalty version of “dressing down”), other man (putting mask on his face) and a soft glow inside the carriage.
o Man and woman human couple(mid 30s?), in wool robes, rings on man, woman with earrings and jewelry
o 3rd person is Dark leather armor, extremely well polished, cloak, and detailed white porcelain mask. Heavy enough to affect the shocks of the carriage.
- Sent by the Temple of the Six Divine
- Imperial Family heard our request for aide and sent all the wagons loaded up
- Staring contest between Captain Starin and Masked stranger.
- Off load all food to homes and get back to the wagons, but the figures have likely gone into Starins home.
o Sneak nearer the window to listen in (Orion fails)
o Heated discussion
Starin was asked to leave (estate waiting for him, land and helpers)
The 3 strangers are being sent to take over, and investigate for arcane corruption / cleanse it
Strengthen the relationship between the people and the Temple of the Divine

Captain Starin

Goodbyes to families
- Orion intentionally avoids the parents instead seeks out sisters to say goodbye for now, packs a small bag. (extra clothes, dagger, what other equip that I would have for being in woods)
Traveling to the Chimera
- The forest is more dead than It should be for this time of year
o The druidic magic seems to be fading from the land
- Something doesn’t feel right.
o Knee high grass moving different than wind.
o Starin tells us to run for the fort.
o Starin throws a dagger into the grass, hits something.
o We bolt for fort, Starin fighting giant snakes with arms???

Continuation of Seasons of Changing
at the Fort
1) Structure
a) Northern wall collapsed.
b) South old rotting doors. Open.
c) Western and eastern standing and overgrown with plant life.
2) Wolf tracks.
3) Mid day approaching the southern entrance.
a) Hinges are rusting away, wood is in decent shape.
b) Hearing wolfs probably inside. We head to the west wall
and climb up.
c) Standing on top looking down into the courtyard.
4) In the Courtyard
a) Wolf Pack 3 adults (2 Female, 1 Male) + 8-9 pups.
b) Carving on the stone arch of southern entry.
i) Weird creature carving
ii) 4 claws/feet, tail, hump/wings, multiple heads?
iii) Found hatch that leads into the fort
c) Kaia speaks with the wolves
i) We are ok to explore until the rest of the pack returns.

iii. Drinks for celebration, cherry alcohol. Given to all kids.

the same. From the north kneels down to touch my forehead and I wake with a start.

2. Your song has been a happy song, it wants to grow stronger and louder, there is a disconnect between yourself and your world.
v. Magic is not evil, humans just haven’t learned to control it which leads to fear.

7) The Ruins
a. Kaia tells us of “the ruins of the tower” a few miles outside of town.
b. Used to be a tower/fort that fell during the Blackwell.

i. Archmage part of ruling royal family
ii. All the mages were told by archmage to rebel and attack killing near 25% of population.
iii. Deities turned on the arcane mages and wiped them from existence.
d. Tracks leading into ruins, lots of small tracks, one large 4-5ft drag mark with blood. Dried from a few days ago. Wolf tracks. Kaia prepares flaming hands
and prepares for a scuffle.
