Dragons
An order of animals in the class Sauropsida. Generally large in size and carnivorous.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Dragons are often mistaken as Reptiles but are actually an order all their own separate from Reptiles, Amphibians, and Birds. They share the reptilian type scally skin but also gain their own separate charismatics, most notably seen in the Family Sexpoda that have an additional set of limbs. The Order is vast and covers creatures as Fantastical as the Greater dragons while scaled wings and Pyroglands to as common seeing as the Aridaninan Bookansale which might be mistaken as an overly large monitor lizard.
Dragons come in two families, Fupod and Sexpod, with the two being split by the number of limps, four or six. Most terrestial Dragons are Fupod and Most that can fly are Sexpod, however even those have exceptions (Wyverns in Fupod and Maxiums Straight Seaserpents)
