Church History

This article, which is still under construction, will explore the origin of the Church of Amon, which is the dominant religious body in Albion. Also discussed will be the Nine Gods of the Empire, the Old Gods of the Cymbrians, and the Old Gods of the Saxons. Of the priesthoods of the Nine Gods, only that of Morr, God of Death, remains fully organized. The Old Gods of both Cymbrians and Saxons are still prayed to, but those who call upon them tend to do so only when occasion prompts--such as Cymbrians who pay homage to Manawyddan before taking sea voyages, or Saxons who call upon Thunor before entering battle.
